It’s Official: The Otter Bay Company initiates tailgate withdrawal.

I discovered The Otter Bay Company a couple months ago and praised them being a perfect supplier for gameday apparel. I love everything the brand represents so coming home to a package from them was too exciting! My new Cyprus Keystone V-Neck is the most gorgeous color (I swear the picture doesn’t do justice!) and I’m not exaggerating when I say the quality is outstanding. I love it and highly recommend Otter Bay not only for gameday, but any day. You can see how I wore it here! (See Post)

INTERN OF THE QUARTER: CAROLYN RUSH

The Otter Bay Company is most delighted to announce our Intern of the Quarter Award Recipient for the 4th quarter of 2011, Ms. Carolyn Rush. Brought on as an intern of the company in September of 2011, Rush has proved to be a tremendous asset to the company. When asked about the choice, Founder/CEO William Pattiz said “Carolyn is that intern that every company hopes for. She is one of those exceedingly rare individuals that you never have to ask or remind to do something because she is already several steps ahead.”

A Florida native and Junior at Auburn University, Ms. Rush has become one of the company’s leading social media experts. In October of 2011 Rush devised and implemented The Otter Bay Company Fall Keystone Color Contest. Utilizing the company’s Facebook page, Twitter page, and blog, Rush challenged contestants to determine how The Otter Bay Company chose the names for their Fall Keystone color pallet. “An outstanding success all around”, commented Christopher Ireland a former intern director with the company and current Senior Marketing Director. Speaking on the success of Rush and the Internship Program Ireland went on to say “It speaks well of both the program and Ms. Rush when we can have an intern come in and not just immediately be given the opportunity to launch any social media campaign, but the most successful social media campaign the company has ever had. It’s exciting to be a part of a company like this.”

“I would say it is one that promotes creativity and the freedom to learn”, said Ms. Rush when asked her thoughts about The Otter Bay Company’s Internship Program. “I think it gives a unique opportunity to think outside the box.” Rush is double majoring in Public Relations and Spanish at Auburn University and hopes to work for a public relations firm after graduating, more specifically a non-profit.

To find out more about The Otter Bay Company Internship Program you can visit the company’s dedicated internship page, http://www.otterbayco.com/interns.html.
